We are currently working with a leading specialist restructuring and insolvency firm that is looking to hire at the Manager level for its growing Glasgow office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded national practice that brings in complex, high-quality mandates across a range of sectors.
As part of this team, you will be involved in intricate formal insolvency appointments, including trading and non-trading administrations. The firm is known for its hands-on, commercial approach and is regularly engaged on significant restructuring cases involving distressed businesses, contentious matters, and creditor-led processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing formal insolvency cases, with a focus on administrations, CVLs, MVLs, and compulsory liquidations.
* Overseeing all aspects of case progression, ensuring statutory compliance and managing stakeholder communications.
* Engaging with company directors, creditors, solicitors, and other stakeholders to deliver effective restructuring outcomes.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
* Supporting business development initiatives and building strong relationships within the local advisory network.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Strong background in insolvency and corporate restructuring, ideally with experience in managing administrations.
* Proven ability to manage cases independently from appointment through to closure.
* A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB (or working towards one) is desirable.
* Solid technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
