Everybody in the Currie & Brown family, no matter how experienced they are, plays their own unique part in our success and have fun along the way.\nThe role – what is it we would like you to do? \nCurrie & Brown is currently looking for a Project Manager.\nYour core duties will involve:\n\nSupport the project lead in managing the design and construction phases of the design and fit-out of multi-sited projects\nLiaise with multiple stakeholders from the client and customer teams including, property services, designers, contractors, FM and building management and security consultants.\nLead the coordination of the design of the customer fit-out against the client’s design guides and constraints.\nDelivering projects, commissions and professional assignments\nAssuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player\nMaintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control\nAssisting with commercial management services\nDelivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner\nProviding support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projects\nRepresenting the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationshipsWhat skills and attributes are we looking for from you:\n\nTechnical delivery experience gained within the construction industry \nGood technical writing, client-facing and communication skills\nWell-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute\nA team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible\nBSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying or equivalent\nExperience in the education sector environment would be advantageous\nExperience of fit-out projects \nRisk management qualifications or experience\n\nAbout The Company\nWhy choose Currie & Brown?\nUnlike some businesses, we prioritise for the long term and honour our commitments.
