Job summary The post holder will be based at the Main Reception and will be both the focal point and gateway of Brockfield House. You will be well presented courteous and helpful, upholding EPUT values within all aspects of customer care. The post holder will provide effective and efficient functioning of the safety and security systems within the reception area. The role will contribute to providing a high quality and responsive front of house reception service for the Medium and Low Secure Facility, to uphold security and to undertake designated administration tasks. Main duties of the job KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES Operation of the main gate for visitors entering the grounds of the facility Greeting, identification and registration/processing of visitors Appropriate liaison with wards, departments and the back of house security Gate keeping of the patient and visitor airlock Gate keeping of the entrances/exits to the rear reception lobby Key checks Monitoring of the main fire control panel Distribution of inward post to wards and departments Sorting of post, incoming and outgoing Monitoring and recording of CCTV output General administrative duties related to security Routine security checks throughout the building both internal and external Forming part of the designated search team which includes the personal search of patients.
