Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 4 students, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident to express themselves and explore new ideas. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and setting clear goals for improvement. Foster a growth mindset and a love for learning by implementing innovative and creative teaching strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery and share best practices. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on student progress and discussing any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a preference for Year 4 experience. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and assessment methods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal development of every student.
