It is an operational support and maintenance base, within the Navy Command TLB and comprises both Faslane and Coulport sites. HMNB Clydes primary purpose is to provide engineering and logistical support to the Royal Navy in maintaining Continuous at Sea Deterrent (CASD). This is achieved by ensuring at least one Vanguard Class submarine is on patrol at sea every day of the year. RNAD Coulport is responsible for the storage, processing, maintenance and issue of the Trident Weapon System and the ammunitioning of all submarine-embarked tactical weapons. The Support Capability Team reviews and informs future support arrangements by ensuring a clear understanding of services currently provided and by developing a robust understanding of gaps in provision. It looks to improve current support arrangements and to develop a clear, cohesive, and robust understanding of the Future Demand Signal within a Clyde Integrated Operating Framework. It also contains the Service Delivery Group (SDG) that provides contract and financial management of the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) contracts. There is an opportunity to join the SDG in the position of Performance Support, responsible for supporting the SDG Senior Performance Manager 2 in the performance and financial management of the HMNB Clyde Hard Facility Management and Alongside Services (Hard FM & ALS) contract to ensure contracted outputs are met. This post will also provide cover to other SDG managed contracts, as required. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job description Support Asst Hd SDG and the Hard FM & ALS SDG team in the management and delivery of all contract changes in respect of new requirements into the Hard FM & ALS contract, ensuring records are maintained. Support Senior Performance Managers in the management of GFA data in SDG data area, liaising with all team members to ensure GFA data records are stored appropriately, maintained and up to date. Provide managerial support and performance management support, including meeting organisation, co-ordination and recording to Asst Hd SDG and Senior Performance Manager SDG team in delivering the performance management of the Hard FM & ALS contract at HMNB Clyde. Maintain the SDG data area for Hard FM & ALS and act as the interface between SDG team to ensure records are maintained accordingly. Provide management of the SDG permission groups for Hard FM & ALS and data organisation to Asst Hd SDG and Hard FM & ALS SDG team. Provide support to Asst Hd SDG and the SDG team in data analysis, assurance and Governance Boards. Provide support to Asst Hd SDG with team administration tasking such as maintaining training records, organising training sessions, room management / allocation etc. Provide cover, as required, for other contracts being managed by the Service Delivery Group. Collaborate with NSIGN Team on NSIGN developments as required Person specification Essential: Previous experience of management of data storage areas (Sharepoint), Excel, Word etc. Good communication and inter-personal skills and an ability to work across a wide range of MOD Stakeholders and Suppliers.
