Job Description ROLE - Project Engineer LOCATION - Stoke-On-Trent TERM- Permanent SALARY- Dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures products a range of bespoke machinery for a range of sectors. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Stoke on a permanent basis. The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Ideally be degree qualified in Engineering / a related subject 2 or more years’ experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or manufacturing environment Innovative and passionate with a can-do attitude Proficient with using MS Office Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Flexible to travel as part of the role as required Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work Able to work well alone as well as in a team The Project Engineer role will involve: Agreeing project objectives Providing advice on the management of projects Scheduling, cost and quality control Carrying out risk assessments Planning and implementation to ensure timelines are met Being creative and open-minded Communicating with customers to meet specifications Being involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings Making sure that all the aims of the project are met Making sure the quality standards are met Using IT or other systems to keep track of people and progress Display a proactive, can-do attitude within the organisation, with a culture of right first time and ownership of problems If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
