Who are you?
Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Calm, kind, and adaptable.
A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting childrens needs.
Strong understanding of how to support children in regulating their emotions.
Experience of the KS2 curriculum
Experience of working with children with social/communication difficulties
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with SEND, adapting learning to meet their individual needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Support childrens social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement personalised support plans.
Promote positive behaviour and well-being through encouragement and structured support.
