I am a 24 year old young lady, who lives with my family, who are very important to me.
I have Retts syndrome, epilepsy and am non verbal. I am looking for a patient, calm, reassuring and gentle PA,
who will be able to support me both within my home and also when out in the community.
Experience of working with people with epilepsy, and learning disability this would be beneficial.
I need help with all aspects of day to day life, support with personal care, eating and drinking, activities and when
mobilising within the home, I can be reluctant to move, so you would have to build a good rapport with me, so that
I know you will keep me safe and encourage me. When out in the community I use a wheelchair, so you will need
to be fit enough to push my chair.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
