To utilise expertise to function as a senior musculoskeletal specialist, managing a varied clinical and at times complex caseload within the community service contract. Specifically, when operating as an MSK Clinician this will include:
1. Determining clinical diagnosis and providing treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, giving specialist clinical/professional advice to patients, carers, and other Health Care Professionals.
2. Undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs. To formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes, ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved.
3. Evaluating own clinical practice through reflection, audit, and outcome measures, to continually improve the service to patients and promote evidence-based practice.
4. Maintaining patient documentation, records, and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional and organisation standards as well as local and national guidelines.
5. Demonstrating a sound understanding of Clinical Governance, including ability to audit own practice.

The Oxfordshire MSK Service is an integrated NHS service commissioned by Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group that provides advice and treatment for people with MSK, chronic pain, MSK Podiatry, and pelvic health related conditions. We are looking for clinicians to join the existing clinical team already delivering specialist MSK care in Oxfordshire. We are committed to a multi-professional workforce based on competency and welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Sports Therapists and Rehab Therapists.
