We are seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team at The Appleton School. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students to develop their mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. We are looking for an individual who can create engaging and challenging lessons that foster a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics across all Key Stages.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
2. Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and empowered to delve into challenging mathematical concepts with confidence and enthusiasm.
3. Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Assess student progress and attainment through a range of formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the Mathematics curriculum, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
