The Role
They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sector Sales to lead their growth in the Business & Professional services sector. This senior leadership role will focus on driving market footprint, delivering innovative treasury and FX solutions, and solidifying our clients presence as a trusted partner in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sector Leadership:
* Develop and implement a sector-specific growth strategy aligned with broader business objectives.
* Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, challenges, and trends within the sector.
* Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure sector strategy integrates with the company’s broader goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mid- to junior-level professionals, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Coach and guide the team on consultative sales techniques to maximize customer value and refine their strategies.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management:
* Champion sales excellence through pipeline management, deal progression, and high-quality customer engagements.
* Own the end-to-end sales process for the sector, from lead identification and qualification to negotiation, closing, and account management.
* Actively manage and forecast the team’s sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow and effective resource planning.
New Business Generation & Relationship Building:
* Proactively lead new business acquisition through targeted prospecting and relationship-building efforts.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, decision-makers, and potential partners.
Thought Leadership
* Represent our client at industry events, roundtables, and webinars, positioning the company as a thought leader in the FX and treasury solutions space.
* Build and promote our clients reputation through innovative insights and trusted advisory services.
Risk and Credit Management:
* Collaborate on credit and risk management strategies, ensuring sector-level decisions align with company frameworks.
* Assess and mitigate potential risks in client engagements while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (finance, business or related disciplines).
* Proven senior-level experience (8-10 years+) in sales leadership within Foreign Exchange, Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services.
* Strong expertise in working with Business & Professional service clients, including FX hedging, treasury, and risk management solutions.
* Demonstrated success in navigating complex sales cycles within global markets.
* Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and empowering talent.
* A track record of delivering measurable results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
