The Opportunity Join Holcim as an Internal Sales Representative, where youll be instrumental in driving sales growth and enhancing customer relationships across our Mortar business. Based in the North West region, this is a fantastic opportunity to support sales managers, manage customer accounts, and take ownership of lead generation, quotations, and order management. Key Responsibilities: Support Sales Managers with lead generation, forward order book maintenance, and quotation follow-ups. Manage the customer journey for small/medium accounts from lead generation through to won/lost reporting. Oversee a portfolio of customers within the North West, ensuring timely quotations, credit management, and payment collection. Take ownership of eCommerce sales using the concrete2you platform, enhancing the digital presence of the Mortar business. Monitor customer lead generation platforms such as Barbour ABI to identify new opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive journey and increase sales performance. Support the development of digital systems, ensuring optimal use of IT platforms for quoting and reporting tasks. Handle customer complaints effectively, ensuring corrective actions are applied and communicated to stakeholders. Proactively identify dormant accounts and develop them into full trading accounts. Collaborate with the wider commercial team, providing support to external customers beyond cash and collect sales. Who You Are You are a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management. Your ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams makes you a key asset in driving business growth. Proven experience in sales support, account management, or customer service within a commercial or construction environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a keen eye for detail. Competence with CRM systems and IT platforms (Word, Excel, Maximo) to manage sales quoting, lead tracking, and reporting tasks. Understanding of company safety protocols, including adhering to PPE requirements and on-site safety regulations. Results-driven, highly organised, and capable of multitasking effectively to meet deadlines. Benefits ??
