Job Title: Early Years Practitioner Location: North West England, Lancashire, Accrington Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education - Early Years Foundation / NURSERY, PRE-SCHOOL OR RECEPTION CLASS Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the early years setting Adapt continuous provision activities to promote a play-based learning approach Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning Observe, assess, and record children's progress and share feedback with parents or guardians and SLT Work in partnership with other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork Follow and implement all policies and procedures of the setting Build positive relationships with the whole class, especialyl your Key Worker group Deliver small group sessions Deliver Phonics Groups, following a Phonics Scheme to promote Early Reading Listen to children read ESSENTIAL Qualifications: A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) Education: GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent Experience: Prior experience working with children in an early years setting - either Nursery, Pre-School or Reception Class Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV, outlining any relevant experience you've had working with Early Years children.
