The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.
We are currently recruiting for an engaging and driven Bartender to join our Truly Talented team.

Job Overview:
The Elvetham Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a key part of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks & bar food, offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and interact with hotel guests and patrons in a friendly, professional manner.
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails and Barista coffees.
* Take beverage orders from guests and servers in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure the bar is stocked, clean, and well-maintained throughout shifts.
* Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
* Assist with bar inventory management, including restocking and reporting low inventory levels.
* Provide recommendations to guests on drinks, pairings, and specials.
* Handle credit transactions accurately.
* Comply with all liquor laws and hotel policies.
* Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred.
* Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment operation.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to serve alcohol.
* Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Certification in Responsible Beverage Service (or equivalent) is a plus.
