We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired/traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.

We are recruiting a support worker to support a 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy living in his own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates via facial expressions and gestures; he is able to express his wishes and preferences to those who know him well.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering him to be as independent as possible.
Flexible support will be required. The package will include care during holidays and weekends.
We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support. Previous care experience with children is preferred. Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client.
The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.
The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists, and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
Driver with full UK License essential.

About you:
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Experience of delivering therapy programmes is desirable but full training will be provided.
* Dependable and professional - you value honesty and discretion
* Experience of working with young adults with physical & cognitive impairment is essential, the position is suited to someone who has a positive attitude plus the ability to motivate & engage.
* Previous experience working with clients with brain injury is preferable
* Friendly and approachable
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and enrol in the DBS update service
* Flexible and you work well under pressure
CCMS are not an employment agency; we help our clients to recruit their own support workers as part of our case management service. You will be employed directly by the client; however, CCMS oversee all aspects of the client's care package on her behalf.
CCMS offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.
Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities in order to promote the best quality of life.
