Academics are actively recruiting for a computer science teacher to cover across KS3 and KS4. The role will be based at one of our reputable schools in Leeds. Recent Ofsted reports described the school as "Good" and was described as being a "well led school."
The school has been praised for the level of support the students receive from the teachers, especially those with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).
This computer science teacher position is to begin in April 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging lessons and display high levels of knowledge on the topic.
2. Collaborate with other members of the team and contribute towards the curriculum.
3. Track students' progress and help them fulfill their academic aspirations.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid Right to work in the UK.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
3. A degree relevant to computer science/ICT.
4. DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
5. Strong behaviour management with the ability to control a classroom.
