Seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to manage and coordinate the design process across all project stages, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Procurement, Site Teams, and Senior Management, overseeing Design Teams, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers. The role involves liaising with clients, consultants, and project staff to develop design packages and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities: Review tender documentation to identify risks, establish deliverables, and ensure compliance. Conduct site visits and inspections as required. Prepare scope documents for surveys, investigations, and regulatory compliance. Manage tender design briefs, fee proposals, and budget estimates. Lead tender submissions, including document formulation and collation. Oversee design planning, programming, and coordination of specialist subcontractors. Evaluate design solutions, identify opportunities for value engineering, and manage RFIs. Ensure compliance with regulatory approvals and industry standards. Chair design management meetings at pre-tender, post-tender, and construction stages. Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project. Support compliance with BREEAM, LEED, and other regulatory requirements. Represent the company on design and build matters and support training initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Diploma in Design, Engineering, or Construction. Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial/mixed-use construction, with a main contractor. Knowledge of structural solutions, finishes, services, and regulatory processes. Strong commercial awareness in tendering and value engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and related software. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
