Steadplan Ltd is a group of MAN Dealerships running through the corridor of the M62 motorway network and dominating the North-West.
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team on a permanent and part-time basis. The hours will be negotiable. You will be required to travel between our depots as and when required. Ideally, the candidate will be qualified to CPID level or working towards it, but this is not essential.
The Role:
1. Advising on employment law and policies: Providing guidance to managers on interpreting and applying company policies, employment contracts, and relevant UK employment legislation in areas like recruitment, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
2. Assist in recruitment and onboarding: Supporting hiring managers by drafting job descriptions, conducting screening interviews, managing the recruitment process, and facilitating employee onboarding procedures.
3. Employee relations: Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, investigating complaints, and providing advice on managing performance issues.
4. Performance management: Supporting managers in setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and identifying development needs for employees.
5. Absence management: Monitoring employee absences, investigating reasons for high absenteeism, and implementing appropriate interventions.
6. Administration of benefits package: Ensuring our benefits package admin is up to date and created for new employees.
7. Maintaining HR records: Keeping accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
8. Proactive HR support: Identifying potential HR risks, suggesting improvements to HR practices, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.
Working hours for this role are negotiable.
