Role Description As a rapidly expanding and progressive business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated CAD Technician to join our existing team. The role will require the successful candidate to be capable of 10 drawings per 8.5hr shift and be highly flexible around their working hours as there will be an element of emergency nights and weekend requests. Responsibilities Production of 2D CAD drawings at chapter 8 standard. Manage drawing allocation on a daily basis, including resolving queries and invoicing all chargeable drawings completed on the application, when necessary, in line with department KPIs. Communicate with the Drawing Team Lead regularly, keeping them up to date with workload and daily allocation. Basic computing skills and experience in Microsoft Office. Customer service skills and liaising with internal and external parties through phone and email. Ensure you maintain a good level of customer service with the clients by communicating regularly and conducting customer visits and meetings, if required. Deal with drawing queries and escalate if necessary. Skills / Qualifications Strong organisational and administrative skills. IT skills, Microsoft packages. Ability to solve problems proactively. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as an individual and in a team. Ability to prioritise workload. Self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch (42.5 hours per week), with flexibility to cover nights and weekends as required. Salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum based on experience (to be discussed at interview). The successful candidate would be subject to a 3 month probational period.
