About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team at Longdon Hall School.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with students with complex learning needs and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how these needs impact upon learning and behaviour in the classroom.
As Deputy Headteacher, you will be responsible for promoting a relentless focus on the quality of education and delivery of a broad and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of pupils and produces positive outcomes.
You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure the school has effective management and the required team capability to further develop and continually improve.
Key Responsibilities
* To support the Headteacher in leading the school and ensuring that it provides high-quality education to its pupils
* To promote a culture that enables all learners and staff to excel
* To develop and implement strategies to improve the academic achievement and progress of pupils with complex learning needs
* To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that pupils receive a holistic education that addresses their social, emotional, and mental health needs
