This exciting new role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects and compliance tasks where no two days are the same. You will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining compliance obligations across PCI DSS, BACS and GDPR. Accuracy and the ability to maintain detailed records are a prerequisite of this role. A natural affinity with technology & software, the ability to think on your feet and explain the complex in simple layman’s terms is also important.
This position involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including trusted suppliers. We need to optimise our use of software systems and payment solutions, whilst maintaining compliance obligations.
A working knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and BACS accreditation would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to stay up to date with industry trends and regulations plus make recommendations for process improvements.

Key responsibilities:
* Ensuring we stay PCI DSS & BACS audit-ready year-round
* Maintaining accurate documentation – policies, training manuals and procedure guides to support all our compliance obligations and day-to-day working practices
* Assisting with the support of all our software systems, including diagnostics, fault finding, and liaising with external suppliers, including integrations between software solutions
* Providing guidance and support to end users through our internal ticketing systems
* Supporting software upgrades, testing, DPIA where necessary and smooth deployment
* Supporting internal software Super User groups, ensuring implementation of latest innovations and best practice
* Collaborating on maintaining business resilience and continuity plans, including regular testing
* Working with cross-functional teams to streamline technical workflows and enhance productivity
* Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data protection, PCI DSS compliance and cyber security
Skills required:
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Good problem-solving/analytical skills and the ability to explain the complex in simple terms
* An understanding of compliance and audit obligations ideally with exposure to PCI DSS, BACS and data protection
* Strong communication skills to provide detailed information in easy-to-understand formats
* A high proficiency in using all Microsoft systems and a proactive approach to learning new software
* Strong collaboration skills, patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
