As Assurance Role:
• Develop Assurance forms to respond to identified risks if the form does not yet exist.
• Ensure Assurance Plans are responsive to risk signals rather than static annual documents, focusing on risk-based activities, regularly seeking feedback from all relevant stakeholders to drive areas of focus.
• Review data to focus on high-risk activities/areas and be flexible to adjust the plan in a timely manner if needed.
• Deliver globally assigned Assurance Activities in a timely manner, aligning with agreed timeframes and driving globally aligned remediation initiatives to address non-compliant areas.
• Be strategic when conducting local Assurance Activities, tailoring them to the specific risks of the markets/units. Use the right assurance approach for the risk/environment; it is not a one-size-fits-all approach.
• Be creative and flexible to think outside the box, promptly adjusting based on issues/observations identified.
• Proactively utilize Assurance Insights to enhance analytical approaches for reviewing and identifying red flags/risk areas.
• Record and report all relevant assurance activities in the appropriate data repository in a timely manner.
• Share meaningful insights with practical recommendations to the business and relevant stakeholders to drive positive changes/improvement opportunities.
• Consult relevant stakeholders to ensure assurance recommendations are practical, aligned with business expectations, and developed through careful analysis of assurance findings and the associated risks.
As Investigation Role:
• Plan, organize, and conduct end-to-end compliance investigations (local) and support Global Investigations of cases reported through available channels provided by the company, such as AZethics, HR, Line Manager, Legal, and Global Compliance, in accordance with Investigation Standards, ensuring timely case closure.
• Effectively communicate the nature, status, and outcomes of relevant investigations to senior stakeholders in Regional Investigations, Global Compliance, Legal, HR, and/or line management, as required.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of substantiated violations and develop corrective actions, as well as recommendations to prevent future violations, ensuring discipline is proportionate and globally aligned.
• Record all findings, results, and data related to compliance investigations, including disseminating final reports and documenting all relevant information in AZethics.
• Provide local language support for GCI investigations, if required.
