Your new company You will be working for a large, well-known organisation who are a big player within their industry. Your new role As a Report Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS. Write and optimise complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data. Utilise SSIS to develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation. Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of reporting solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define report requirements. Automate reporting processes and implement data visualisation best practices. What you'll need to succeed Strong proficiency in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, and Power BI. Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. What you'll get in return A contract role lasting an initial period of three months with a potential of extension. The role is paying up to £400 per day and is outside IR35. The role is based in Milton Keynes and hybrid working is on offer.
