Our client, a developer of high-performance solid-state sodium batteries designed to offer safety, sustainability, and lower cost is currently looking to hire a Process Development Engineer. The successful candidate will work in a renewable energy start up through developing meaningful technologies. The Process Development Engineer will: Work within the manufacturing team to further scale the process from pilot scale to Mega/Giga scale. Understand and adhere to chemical and laboratory work safety principles, operational efficiency, and delivery. Operate, and further develop the organisation’s state of the art electrolyte production responsible managing the quality and throughput of the line. Monitor equipment, communicating the need for upgrades, repairs or other operational issues. Work with the R&D team to develop ink formulations and refine these formulations for scaled up production. The Process Development Engineer will have: 4 Years Industrial experience in Material production or Material Development (ideally working with ceramics) BEng or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry. Experience working in processes require high temperature firing. Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Experience working on semi-automated production lines.
