QHSE Officer

This position is part time, 28 to 32 hours per week to suit individual needs, with a salary of £35,000, plus death in service, pension scheme, and Christmas vouchers.

The QHSE Officer will be responsible for maintaining and executing quality, environmental, and health and safety standards, along with maintaining the QHSE systems already in place, focusing on compliance to ensure adherence to company and customer standards. Please note you will need to have a clean driving license and your own transport as you will be required to cover another site in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
QHSE Officer Duties:
1. Maintain the company's policies and procedures as part of an integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
2. Monitor the quality, environmental, and health and safety performance across the business.
3. Report the status of QHSE compliance requirements to the Leadership Team.
4. Ensure risk assessments are carried out and safe working procedures are implemented.
5. Develop a positive health and safety culture.
6. Conduct regular proactive safety inspections.
7. Provide guidance and advice to management on QHSE requirements.
8. Ensure health and safety equipment (e.g., PPE) is in place and used.
