An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse to work within the Complex Care at Home Team.
We are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our leadership team and have the ability to work effectively with patients, carers and other team members across ABUHB and Continuing Care. The successful individual will be expected to deliver high quality person centred care in an environment that is both challenging and rewarding, leading by example and is a role model to the nursing workforce.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the posts are to care for individuals with complex health care needs in their own homes within the community.
There is developing, exciting work within the Care at Home Team at present. The service is driven towards succession planning and there are a variety of training and development opportunities available with a period of preceptor ship. The post offers the ability to work within patients' homes, day services and external sites to, patients that are eligible for Continuing Health Care providing holistic care to patients & their families. This service is unique with the wide range of clinical conditions we care for, we welcome registered nurses with an ITU background bridging the gap between community and acute nursing.
A secondary yet equally important part of your role would be as a mentor for a team of highly skilled Health Care Support Workers and supporting their clinical competencies to enable them to continue to deliver care to the clients within your caseload.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
