The Job:
We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated Weighbridge Operatives to join the team. This would ideally suit an agricultural graduate, with the desire to upskill and progress their career.
As a Weighbridge Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the site by accurately weighing materials, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting with transport logistics across the site.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate the weighbridge system for incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate records are kept.
2. Monitor traffic flow on-site and enforce safety and traffic management protocols.
3. Perform material sampling, testing, and reporting on raw materials to meet quality standards.
4. Maintain effective communication with drivers, site staff, and external visitors.
5. Assist in plant operations by supporting other team members as required, including emergency response when necessary.
6. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
7. Accurately record and report all weighbridge transactions and related data.
8. Participate in site improvements and help with any required audits or safety checks.
9. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Candidate:
1. Agricultural background.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
4. Good standard of IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
5. Forklift Truck (FLT) certification is desirable, or the willingness to undergo training.
