Team/Role Overview: The successful candidate will join the UK and WE Domestic Payments team to focus on managing and driving Citi's Payments business in the UK. Sitting in Citi’s Services business, the role involves the day-to-day management of a dynamic Payments business, ensuring full alignment with the regulatory environment and driving financial performance. You will be at the centre of a large network of partners coming together to deliver a market leading solution. What you’ll do: Be the point person for the successful day to day running Citi’s Domestic payment proposition within the UK cluster including oversight of product performance, incident management and the client experience. Develop a strong understanding of the application architecture for business delivery and the end-to-end Experience of clients when using Citi’s solution. Management of the P & L for the UK ensuring business drivers are fully analysed and understood to manage and grow the business. Management of Citi’s membership of the Faster payments and BACS schemes Oversee the liquidity requirements for the UK domestic schemes. Assess regulatory developments and ensure Citi is well placed to execute against these requirements. Lead on the management of the Controls environment including delivery of scheme attestations and Operational Resilience. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. What we’ll need from you: Significant relevant experience and an in-depth understanding of the UK market with a focus on the BACS and Faster Payments offering. Experience with partnership management, business development planning. Complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. Application of ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution for complicated and/or unique situations. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels. Risk management mindset. Experience is assessing, documenting, and managing business risk as part of a product organisation. Ability to work as part of a team, with a high degree of collaboration with cross functional teams.
