Job Overview
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at the Alan Squirrel Renal Satellite Unit as we are expanding to have a twilight shift. If you are an experienced Band 5/6 Nurse, who is motivated and enthusiastic, then come and join our friendly team of Nurses and become part of the Kent Kidney Care Centre based at the QEQM. If you are looking to expand your skills and learn how to deliver haemodialysis to both inpatients and outpatients, then this is the role for you.
We are looking for someone who is kind and caring and who wants to be part of a team who advocate and make evidence-based decisions for patients in a nurse-led unit.

* Registered Nurse
Skills And Experience
* At least 2 years at band 5 with HD experience and a further 2 years in an acute Trust or similar acute setting
* Delivery of evidence-based practice.
* Acting up in absence of the current manager
* Venepuncture Cannulation of arteria/venous fistulae IV Drug Administration
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Experienced in nurse supervision assessment and patient assessment
* Extended role in connection to temporary dialysis catheters for dialysis purposes
* Ability to develop working relationships with others
* Time management and personal organisation skills.
