We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to plan, prepare and teach engaging English language lessons to learners aged 7-17. Approximate dates: 03/01/2025 - 16/02/2025. As An EFL Teacher, You Will Plan and teach engaging English language lessons that cater to different learning styles. Develop materials and resources for classroom use. Set and administer placement testing to assess students’ language level. Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress. Supervise students on study tours and assist with activities. Complete associated admin tasks such as preparing the classroom, maintaining notice boards and packing and unpacking academic resources. Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment. About You We are looking for candidates who are: Responsible - You consistently prioritise the safety and well-being of our young learners and keep safeguarding at the heart of everything you do. Adaptable - You demonstrate an understanding of diverse learning styles and can tailor your approach to meet the needs of your learners. Subject matter experts - You have a strong command of the English language and a good understanding of language teaching methodologies. Culturally sensitive - You demonstrate an understanding of cultural differences and ensure an inclusive and respectful learning environment. Enthusiastic - You are passionate about working with young people and bring enthusiasm and energy to teamwork. Teachers Must Be Qualified As Follows CELTA/ Trinity TESOL Certificate or QTS in a related subject specialism such as modern languages, English or a Primary QTS Degree or equivalent Courses must be externally validated, contain at least six hours teaching practice and a minimum of 100 hours of ELT/TESOL input. Applicants who have completed 100% online courses will not be considered. We are especially interested in hearing from candidates with experience in the following areas: Project-based teaching Teaching mixed nationality groups Teaching on a residential course Delta/Trintiy DipTESOL qualified If you don’t have experience in the above but hold the relevant teaching qualifications we are still keen to hear from you.
