Milton Keynes College Group is on an exciting journey to grow its sixth form provision and to be the outstanding provider of A levels in southeast midlands. As Deputy Head of Sixth Form, you will be a part of that exciting journey. Your role will be dynamic, varied and highly rewarding working with universities, employers and curriculum teams. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the sixth form, with specific responsibility for developing the pastoral offer and the academic support for students. Working closely with your team and the Head of Sixth Form, you will look to develop a high-quality, innovative curriculum that delivers outstanding outcomes for students, enabling them to progress to their first-choice destination, including selective universities.
We are looking for someone with skills and knowledge of the sixth form sector. You will use your knowledge and skills to drive forward an innovative, successful provision. Your core knowledge of the sector will enhance the learning experience for students to ensure that they can progress to their chosen destinations.
It is important that you can support and encourage your colleagues, so the ability to people manage and act as direct support for the Head is essential. You will be a self-motivated individual, eager to develop and take on further responsibility.
