Dorset Grade 5 £12,834 to £ 13,048 annual salary (pay award pending) We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team of excellent Teaching Assistants. We are looking for a highly motivated team member with the skills and experience necessary to support and assist the class teachers in promoting high standards of engagement and behaviour, as well as engaging in SEN support for individual pupils. The contract is initially for a fixed term period to July 2026 for 24 hours per week, term time only. The ideal candidate will be resilient and flexible, with a passion for supporting all children's needs either in a mainstream classroom environment or on an individual basis. Keeping Children Safe in Education The federation will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
