VCHA Regional Trainer South East (1 vacancy only)
This is an exciting new project within the VCHA programme for 1 VCHA South East Regional Trainer only. This is an opportunity to deliver a set of training products for the NHS in England. Using your knowledge and skills to deliver high quality products will help to ensure that every member of the Armed Forces community who enters the NHS, as either a patient or member of staff, are understood, heard and their unique experiences made part of their experience. Our mission is to reduce disadvantage for the Armed Forces community when they receive healthcare and employment in the NHS.
Interviews to be held: 21st February 2025
Deliver training and education for Integrated Care Systems (ICS), Integrated Care Partnerships and Boards (ICP/B), and NHS Trusts’ so they are better able to understand, support and advise the Armed Forces community. This will be achieved through an understanding of the military context and the unique issues of the Service family and veterans post-service life.
* Deliver a standardised Armed Forces awareness training product portfolio. This will include modules to support at executive and operational levels, Armed Forces champions, and organisation staff.
* Deliver a training strategy within all ICS/ICP/Bs to improve awareness of the specific needs of the Armed Forces community to improve outcomes and experience.
* Deliver a “Train the Trainer” package including a refresher training cycle for all organisations operating within an NHS England defined region.
* Maintain, alongside a regional lead, a monitoring and reporting system of training delivered and the measurable outcomes of the training products.
