Are you an experienced FP&A Analyst looking to embark on a rewarding career path? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be responsible for supporting annual planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics. You will play an integral part in providing advice, guidance, and subject matter expertise on all financial reporting matters, preparing monthly financial reports for Senior Leadership and Executives.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing reporting and value-adding insight; profit and loss, working capital, cash flow, capital expenditure, and non-financial drivers.
What you will be doing as FP&A Analyst
Planning and Forecasting
* Responsible for analysing and reporting the consolidated view of annual budgeting and forecasting.
* Gain a clear understanding of business areas’ financial performance, including cost drivers, KPI's, and outcomes expected. Challenging when required.
* Supporting the team with clear guidance and timelines for delivering accurate, reliable, and timely forecasts and budgets, aligning with the central programme.
Performance Reporting
* Support delivery of financial plans through timely and accurate analysis and reporting - highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances.
* Gain a good understanding of financial performance for each business area, ensuring insightful reporting for central consolidation.
* Drive continuous improvement with the finance team and support any wider plans to upgrade financial systems, enhance reporting, and improve processes.
Stakeholder Management
* Regularly influencing and presenting to senior management, key findings from financial analysis.
* Maintain strong working relationships with finance teams across the business unit to ensure strong engagement on planning, forecasting, and performance issues.
What you should bring to the role
* Qualified Accountant with experience gained within an FP&A function, with a proven track record of adding value.
* Strong analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; SAP and HFM preferable.
* Strong attention to detail whilst being able to see the bigger picture.
* Significant communications experience - presenting financial analysis to senior management.
* Proactive and ambitious - sets high goals for self and continuously strives to improve.
* Able to multi-task and prioritise own work effectively.
