The Role:
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant (HVAC) at SST, you will take ownership of the full recruitment process, building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates. You will manage your own desk, working across the HVAC sector and other technical engineering fields, and provide tailored recruitment solutions to a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to managing client relationships
2. Developing new business and expanding existing accounts
3. Using your industry expertise to provide specialist recruitment advice and solutions to clients
4. Negotiating fees, contracts, and terms of business
5. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with candidates and clients
6. Meeting and exceeding personal and team-based revenue targets
7. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and market intelligence
About You:
We are seeking a driven and experienced recruitment professional who is passionate about delivering results. You will have a track record of success in recruitment, preferably within the HVAC or technical engineering sector, and be ready to hit the ground running.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with a proven track record of billing success
2. Experience in HVAC or technical engineering recruitment is highly desirable
3. Strong business development skills, with the ability to win new clients
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Self-motivated and target-driven
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
7. Strong networking skills and a client-first mindset
What We Offer:
1. Competitive base salary with uncapped commission paid at 20%, no threshold for the first 6 months then £4k after
2. Yearly targeted bonuses (also pro-rated), £100k+ = 3.5%, £125k+ = 5%, £150k+ = 6.5%, £200k+ = 8.5%, £225k+ = 10%
3. Flexible working hours: choose from 07:30-16:30, 08:00-17:00, or 08:30-17:30 (Monday-Thursday with a 1-hour lunch), and 08:00-14:00 on Fridays with a 30-minute lunch
