Your responsibilities as Security Engineer will include:
1. Determine appropriate levels of controls, systems monitoring and audits
2. Develop and supervise all IT security measures in place within the company
3. Help manage the development and implementation of policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing improvement and maintenance of security posture
4. Designing, implementing, and monitoring measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
5. Maintaining existing systems, controls, and documents
6. Developing technical solutions and new security tools/techniques to assist in mitigating vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
We’re looking for a Security Engineer with:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
2. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
3. (ISC)² SSCP, CCSP; ECC CEH; CompTIA CySA+ or equivalent accreditation
4. Detailed technical knowledge of vulnerabilities, threats, attack methods, and infection vectors
5. In-depth technical experience working with a multitude of products and hardware (e.g. Spector, Palo Alto, CISCO etc)
6. Extensive knowledge and experience within security architecture, engineering, and operations
7. A solid foundation in computer networking fundamentals & security control, Firewalls, routing and the various threats applicable to the various OSI Networking layers
8. Demonstrable understanding of DLP/IDS/IPS technologies, ability to construct custom signatures and investigate intercepted traffic/logs
9. Demonstrable understanding of application security (web based) and how to protect business services through multiple protection mechanisms (controls)
10. Working experience in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
11. Working experience in building and maintaining on-premise and cloud (hybrid) security systems
12. Working experience with Microsoft Threat Protection and Azure Security technology stack
