Description About the role We have a new opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Guinness Property Responsive Repairs team on a full time, permanent basis in Crewe. Reporting to the Repairs Delivery Manager you will manage and support the Responsive Repairs team to deliver quality first time fix repairs in our customers’ homes within the region. You will manage the team’s productivity, quality of work and progress by undertaking regular inspections of work. You will also manage approved contractors’ performance and compliance and ensure the relevant resources are in place. To be considered you must be an experienced senior repairs professional with great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. You will also be able to establish great working relationships and influence at all levels across the business. You will also need to demonstrate these essential skills & experience: Up to date knowledge of building maintenance, Decent Homes standards and safety legislation. Proven experience of developing and implementing business improvements in a service delivery environment. Demonstrates the skills to manage complex programmes of work. Proven ability to analyse complex information and develop potential options and / or recommendations on the most appropriate course of action. Able to use data to improve decision making, leading, and navigating team members through ambiguity by making evidence and/or values-based decisions to prioritise strategically. Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills, working with the business to identify practical, performance improvement opportunities. Excellent oral and written communications. Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours Full UK driving licence The successful candidate will have either a trade NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience and ideally have experience of leading, managing, developing and motivating operational teams.
