Computer Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified and reliable computer science teacher for an Outstanding school in central Coventry (CV1). The school prides itself on its outstanding behaviour, positive school environment and fantastic facilities for both staff and students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching computer science/ IT within a UK secondary school
- A degree in IT/Computer Science or similar related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and competent using and teaching various systems and programmes
- Competent understanding of IT jargon and programming languages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong and effective behaviour management techniques
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver informative IT lessons to class sizes up to 30 students from years 7-11
- Assess pupil progress and learning on a regular basis
- Provide pupils with feedback on their learning
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department and ensure IT is a high performing subject
- Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of all individuals within the school environment
