The position is Monday to Friday; however, we do offer flexible working options to meet both the candidates and service need. Main duties of the job The Team Lead will lead and manage the Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) suite and the co-ordination and delivery of ECT service ensuring it meets accepted quality and safety standards in accordance with national and local guidelines. You will continue to ensure that we meet ECT Accredited Service (ECTAS) standards and ensuring the department remain accredited. It would be a requirement that you complete your ECT training and competencies if not already completed. The team also manage people who require monitoring for their Clozaril medication in the Hull area. There is a need to have an excellent understanding of physical health monitoring as well. Utilising creativity and engagement skills, the co-management of a diverse multi-disciplinary group will be central to this role. Working closely with the Modern Matron, Service Manager and other senior professionals, you will be supported and encouraged to progress. Person specification Qualifications And Knowledge Essential criteria Live register or equivalent professional registration relevant to the post Postgraduate or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experiential learning/experience in service development, managing change, leading and managing staff, plus specialist training and short courses to Diploma level relevant to the area of practice Desirable criteria Specialist / advanced understanding / application of relevant managerial and leadership aspects of the service area Experience Essential criteria Evidence of specialist practice skills and ability to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development Desirable criteria A breadth of professional practice including specialising in the field where the post is held Skills And Competencies Essential criteria Able to demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, carer and at all levels of staff/managers in the organisation Applicant Requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
