Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist in the installation, Overhauls, and maintenance of fixed and rotating equipment.
* Support experienced technicians in troubleshooting and repairing various pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, heat exchangers, and other refinery equipment.
* Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
* Document maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs accurately and comprehensively.
* Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve system performance.

* Working towards a Level 3 Maintenance and operations engineering technician apprenticeship standard.

GCSE in:
