Job summary Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is continuing to develop and refine an innovative, integrated model of children's community services and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to operationally lead our Early Child Development multidisciplinary pathway with a focus on early intervention and support. The Early Childhood Development pathway cares for children under the aged of 5 years with complex medical presentations. The pathway also currently supports neurodiversity assessments for the under 5's. This role is 18.75hrs a week (0.5 WTE) across Devon and Torbay (excluding Plymouth) with bases available in Exeter, North & South Devon and Torbay. You will want to be on site with your team for some of the time, however we can support some remote working as part of your job plan. Main duties of the job Working alongside the clinical and medical leads for the service, you will be supported to bring your operational skills, experience and enthusiasm to this role. You will supervise and manage others, ensuring the service responds in a timely way to meet the needs of children, young people and families. As Operations Lead for this pathway you will work closely with colleagues in CFHD but also colleagues from the acute trusts in across Devon and Torbay who medically support the children seen within the pathway. We are looking for an individual who enjoys operational management, who likes to collaborate and work with others, who has skills in leadership and can remain calm and compassionate under pressure. A keen eye for data and a focus on performance is on the wish list along with the ability to bring innovation to the table.
