Our client is a world leader in solvent distribution looking to add a Stock and Logistics Coordinator to their Scunthorpe site. As Stock and Logistics Coordinator, you will control all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring transport movements are commercially efficient. The role will be a key link between sales teams, drivers, and internal depots.
As Stock and Logistics Coordinator, you will work with the sales team to process orders, ensuring stock is available and arranging effective bulk haulage. The role will keep a focus on stock levels within the Scunthorpe depot and across other sites. Additionally, the role will work closely with drivers to ensure they have the correct paperwork, that all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and effectively, and where needed, work with additional hauliers to cover loads. There will also be a focus on customer service, ensuring compliance of goods moved and a number of admin-related tasks which include stock reports, sales, and purchase orders.
The role will be suited to a candidate already working in a similar fast-paced logistics role who is an excellent communicator, has good IT and admin skills, and is commercially astute.
