Quality Control Operative - St Ives, Cambridgeshire

This role requires you to manage and support Quality assurance checks on printed golf balls.

You will accrue 33 days holiday per year, and our client offers an excellent hourly rate, plus occasional overtime.
This vacancy is based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous experience working within a Quality Control environment.
* Computer literate experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and E-mail.

Shifts for Quality Control Operative:
* 07.30 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday
* 07.30 to 13.00 Fridays
The client offers:

Hourly Pay:
* £13.54 per hour
* 12 weeks temp to perm
Main Duties for the Quality Control Operative:
Our client requires you to proactively and confidently address operational challenges while maintaining a safety-first approach.
As part of the Quality Control team, your duties in the Logo Ball operations area include:
* Inspecting final quality assurance checks for all processes.
* Calibration of production machinery and keeping accurate records on the Quality Control database.
* Self-managing your workload and coordinating with other departments.
* Having a good eye for detail and confidence in making decisions.
* Quality assurance checks on printed golf balls.
* Using the current design sheets and artwork, these audits consist of checking print quality, colors, legibility of text, and overall size and placement.
* Incoming goods inwards checking as required for both operations & distribution.
Full training will be given.
