I am currently recruiting for an established Hull based business. They are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the small finance team and report directly to the Directors.Based in West Hull, you will benefit from a friendly working environment, great salary and the opportunity to lead the finance arm of the business.Reporting to the Directors and working as part of a cross-functional and dedicated team, your responsibilities will be varied and include:
1. Overseeing of the credit control function daily
2. Daily communications with customers on new credit accounts, credit limit reviews and credit account positions
3. Daily communications with suppliers, scheduling supplier payments, settlement discounts and general account queries
4. Control of the company bank accounts and associated administration
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Cash flow forecasts
7. Reconciliation of credit card statements
8. Full payroll administration
9. VAT returns
10. Regulatory correspondence including HMRC, pensions, etc
11. Producing financial and management reports
12. Preparing management accounts
13. Involvement in producing and analysing stock valuations reports
14. Managing and reporting on the companies trading agreements, including tracking of dates, rebates, etc
