We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor(s) to join and support our Early Careers Talent Acquisition Team to deliver high quality, diverse apprentice hires into the BBC across Public Services. Main Responsibilities As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Early Careers recruitment process for apprenticeship schemes across the BBC. Our schemes receive high volumes of applications and you will therefore be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality experience to all candidates, hiring manager and stakeholder throughout the process. You will be required to support the team with broad range of administrative tasks as well as taking on projects and responsibilities of your own. A main part of your role will be progressing candidates applications through the selection process ensuring this is completed in a consistent and timely manner. This will include initial screening of applications, processing and maintaining record on candidates through our applicant tracking system (ATS) and communicating to candidates throughout the process. You will be working in close partnership with others in the Early Careers Talent Acquisition team, our Academy team and internal stakeholders to drive a smooth attraction and hiring process ensuring inclusive recruitment processes and practices are followed. You will be expected to consistently meet assigned metrics and measures to ensure we deliver recruitment in an effective and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for arranging and overseeing the organisation and running of multiple assessment centres ensuring that every candidates, assessors and scheme leaders has all the information they require. This will require at times to work extended hours on these days. You will be responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of communication and administration throughout the recruitment process including providing the relevant offer details for onboarding teams. Throughout the process you will need to provide clear, accurate and timely responses to any queries to ensure a high quality of service. This includes responding to email queries through our centralised query inbox. You will be expected to work independently but also collaboratively as part of a wider team to ensure we deliver a consistent high quality process. You will work closely with a Talent Acquisition Consultants and Senior Talent Acquisition Advisors in the team to be responsible for the hiring of schemes within our Editorial, Technology or Business portfolios. You will be a key part of the development of the early careers recruitment process, helping to shape the way forward for the recruitment of apprentices across the BBC. Are you the right candidate? This is role would be suitable for someone with some initial experience in working in early careers recruitment who is looking to build their experience and responsibility. We’d like you to have: Relevant in-house early careers or apprenticeship recruitment experience gained in large complex corporate settings be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. Direct experience of supporting high impact inclusive Early Careers recruitment strategies and campaigns and demonstrate an up to date in Early Careers best practice and trends including outreach and social media. Be motivated to support and make a difference to the young people and career changers who are applying for our apprenticeship schemes - for many this will be the first experience of applying for a role/scheme and you will be the first point of contact for them. Proven operational or administrative support experience within a recruitment environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verba Confident in dealing with the full range individuals such as candidates and hiring managers, via multiple communication channels. Able to assume responsibility for discrete areas of work and able to use judgement to provide the best outcomes. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ensures facts are correct, complete and consistent. Be confident working autonomously, at pace and of managing your own workload through efficient prioritisation and demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach. Be eager to bring creativity and new ideas whilst also demonstrating tenacity and resilience when in challenging situations. Understands how to work effectively in a team to deliver and how to handle, resolve and escalate enquiries.
