KEY RESULT AREAS/MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the routine testing of diagnostic nuclear medicine equipment, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging systems, gamma probes, radionuclide calibrators, contamination monitors and dose-rate meters. Assist in the routine delivery of the radionuclide therapy service, including preparation of ward facilities, carrying out in-patient measurements, post-therapy decontamination procedures and radioactive waste management. Carry out experimental work, data analysis, report writing and results presentation for research projects in Nuclear Medicine Physics Carry out clinical and technical audits as required by the department Liaise with the Trainee Computer Scientist and the Scientific Computing Section in the development and testing of software and image processing applications to support the clinical Nuclear Medicine service Occasional travel with the team to other sites may be required. To assist in all other areas of work of the Section not mentioned above and to undertake such other duties as might be requested by the Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics or Deputy from time to time
