Audit Apprenticeship Programme About the programme Our purpose is to support the long-term sustainability of businesses, to bring trust and confidence to society and the financial markets. Technology, including AI is transforming the way that we deliver our audits as it’s embedded in everything that we do. It allows us to focus on using our key skills on analysis, exercising professional judgement and providing powerful insights to EY teams and clients. What will you be doing? Working in teams we analyse data, consider sustainability metrics, and test business controls to determine whether financial statements are accurate. Learning from your team as they coach and guide you in your day-to-day tasks. Working across a portfolio of clients assigned to you. This will involve a mixture of hybrid working – travelling to client offices, working in the EY office and occasionally from home. It will vary by client and will depend on the requirement of the team. Studying towards a Professional Qualification, which requires attending in-person courses, self-study and sitting exams. Attending EY learning courses to continually learn new skills. Regularly meeting your support network including your Career Counsellor, and Apprenticeship Coach to track your performance and help you progress your career. Participating in a range of other activities that help you build your network and support the performance of our business. Programme duration: 4 years Qualification/s you’ll gain: ICAEW in England and ICAS in Scotland Level 7 Apprenticeship Are you eligible to apply? We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out 5 on your academic performance alone. England and Northern Ireland: You will, need a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and to have completed three A-levels or (equivalent e.g. BTEC Nationals) by the time the programme starts. Scotland: You will need a minimum grade C National 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths and be working towards completing 5 Highers or be working towards a SCQF Level 6/7 by the time the programme starts. To be eligible to join EY’s apprenticeship programme you must not have previously completed an honours or masters degree in any subject. We welcome 5 from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role.
