This full-time position involves assisting the office manager with day-to-day accounts and office duties. As part of a small business, the role will encompass a variety of tasks beyond the standard job description to support the entire operation.
The appointed Junior Office Administrator will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to facilitate the responsibilities outlined below. Additionally, they should be proactive, identifying opportunities to assist the office manager with supplementary administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
* Preparing orders for shipping and coordinating deliveries
* Processing purchase orders and invoicing customers
* Updating and maintaining the internal product tracking system
* Booking travel arrangements, including itineraries for general customer trips and exhibitions
* Processing supplier invoices
Requirements
* Proficiency in calculating percentages
* Strong working knowledge of office applications
* Ability to work effectively as part of a small team with a flexible and adaptable approach
* Capacity to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
