Exciting Opportunity for a Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer We are seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring manufacturing feasibility evaluations align with our business processes. Key Responsibilities: As a Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis of future programmes, reviewing product style and design to identify and resolve manufacturing feasibility concerns. You will conduct analysis of part design through virtual and physical studies, providing recommendations and supporting problem resolution. Additionally, you will develop assembly strategies and ensure product quality targets are met through dimensional management outputs. You will also support virtual build reviews and feasibility assessments. In your role, you will support concern resolution by clearly defining and documenting manufacturing concerns via business processes. Furthermore, you will be involved in control build activities by validating assembly feasibility using reference properties and supporting controlled build vehicle analysis. You will act as a knowledge holder for part design and assembly within specific vehicle zones/modules. You will contribute to the identification and development of best practices by benchmarking design, manufacturing, and assembly methods across industries. Additionally, you will play a key role in the development of knowledge through technical research and industry-related literature. You will also contribute to the introduction of new technologies and techniques to support project deliverables. Skills & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in the automotive industry, though experience in related industries is also considered. You should have strong knowledge of component design, manufacturing, and assembly processes, as well as expertise in design for assembly principles, including lean manufacturing techniques. Familiarity with CATIA V5 and virtual build tools, as well as dimensional management analysis, is important. You should also have excellent problem-solving abilities, with a logical and structured approach. Qualifications: You will need an HNC/Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Fluency in German is preferred, and membership in a relevant professional institute is a plus.
