About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Sales Director to join our Hybrid Intelligence team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our Expert Sales team, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with Life Sciences clients, driving sales growth and delivering high-value technical consultancy and analytics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet bookings targets for Hybrid Intelligence offers and capabilities within a defined account portfolio.
* Collaborate with Capgemini UK teams to drive booking and revenue growth for Hybrid Intelligence's specialist capabilities.
* Pitch and sell Virtual R&D solutions to potential Life Sciences clients, leveraging technical knowledge and domain expertise to demonstrate credibility.
* Understand industry and client needs, identifying winning strategies and solutions tailored to these.
* Lead bid teams to create winning proposals, bringing in experts from across the global Hybrid Intelligence team.
**Requirements:
* BS, MS or PhD in a numerate subject such as science, mathematics, or engineering.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A good understanding of challenges faced by R&D in life sciences firms.
* Knowledge of key technologies, data science techniques, and software development in the R&D space.
* Ability to drive technology-intensive conversations with clients and colleagues.
* A track record of relationship building with senior R&D stakeholders and CxO's.
* Consultative selling or delivery experience in the Life Sciences industry.
